- Zero Chemical Lotions: Chemical sunscreens and bug sprays transfer to the sand and disrupt the delicate olfactory imprinting sensors turtles need to find their way back decades later.
- Designated Pathways: Sanctuary biologists designate clear walking corridors to prevent stepping on natural underground nests.

¿Cuál es la mejor época del año para realizar el tour?

- Julio a Diciembre: Temporada pico. Prácticamente todas las tardes se liberan crías. Es la mejor época para presenciar el fenómeno.
- Enero a Marzo: Fin de temporada. Aún hay liberaciones de los últimos nidos de la temporada, aunque en menores volúmenes por tarde.
- Abril a Junio: Época de baja actividad. Llámanos por WhatsApp para confirmar si hay nacimientos programados antes de agendar tu reserva.
Itinerario detallado del tour de liberación
- 5:00 PM — Recogida directa en tu hotel de Puerto Escondido a bordo de transporte climatizado.
- 5:40 PM — Llegada al campamento de conservación y bienvenida por parte de los guías comunitarios del santuario.
- 5:50 PM — Plática educativa. Aprenderás sobre biología marina, la historia de conservación en Oaxaca y la técnica correcta de liberación.
- 6:10 PM — Entrega de jícaras ecológicas individuales con tu tortuga bebé asignada.
- 6:20 PM — Caminata a la zona de humedales de arena. Colocamos las tortugas con respeto frente al mar y las acompañamos mientras avanzan sobre la arena y se integran al Océano Pacífico con las últimas luces doradas del atardecer.
- 6:50 PM — Fotografía del grupo al atardecer y despedida del equipo del santuario.
- 7:00 PM — Regreso a tu hotel en Puerto Escondido.
